What would you guys like to see in a wendy skill tree

Let’s just set all “oh wendy is already op” shenanigans aside, none of that matters anyways. What would you guys like to see in a wendy skill tree?

I think it’d be fun if the skill tree focused on keeping wendy largely weak while buffing abigail. Maybe make it so that crafting abigail potions has a chance to not use up morning glories, similar to terraria’s alchemy table. Or just some other skill(s) which reduce the pipspook grind.

It should be pretty obvious but.. Wendy’s entire character design revolves around always having a “Ghost” as a Follower, So therefore, Logical thinking would be to Upgrade Abigail so that she can do all the things that an Actual “Dead Players Ghost” Can do- And if your not aware of what all a Dead Players Ghost can do- I highly suggest you go look it up.

The TL:DR- It’s ALOT.

But I’d also like to see a few things Unrelated to entirely Relying on Abigail, such as Wendy becoming Enraged when Abby Dies to Temporarily deal Boosted Damage or something (which would be the exact opposite of Klei’s Original Design of Lower HP Wendy = More Damage Abby.)

Kleis Original Concept just didn’t Work- They Wanted Wendy and Abby to Work together in Unison, However the original Design only encouraged Wendy to stand around Idle at low Hp while Abby did her AFK Wendy thing.

The things I’m Suggesting HERE changes that… And I’ve never understood why a player has to intentionally “Die” to do Ghost Related Functions of the game when Wendy literally has a ghost as a permanent Follower.. like What?

If I can make an unlikely to happen request- I’d want Abigail’s cooldown timer to be reinstated but allow skill points in the Sisturn to restore it to how it works now.

Kinda like how they removed Wolfgang’s Speed in his Rework, but gave it back in his Skill Tree.

So Zero points on Sisturn = Original DS Wendy Abigail Cooldown Timer.

You get the idea.

As a Wendy main, I really miss having to wait until Abigail’s Flower Blooms out till I could be able to call upon her again.

it's 10% and only works in normal form so irrelevant for fighting, unlike 25% when mighty before rework     

I would like to see a new weapon that only she can use and could be upgraded as you further progress in the game.

Maybe she could craft an umbrella that you can place little “spearheads” into made from different materials that would become dull/break overtime instead of the umbrella loosing durability. (Just like Walter’s slingshot)

The umbrella would be considered a “stabbing weapon” which would basically mean that Wendy’s 0.75× damage modifier wouldn’t apply to this weapon and would also use the same attack animation as the Fencing Sword which would make it slower than the average weapon, but the damage would make up for it.

I also could see the umbrella have some synergy with Abigail, like when your damage is being boosted by Abigail the umbrella or maybe Abigail deals extra stacking damage just like the Shadow Reaper does or better yet it could maybe “leach health” from the creature you are attacking to restore Abigail’s health maybe.

The reason why I think Wendy could very well have a weapon that’s unique to her is because as so far skill trees have mostly (or partially) been focused on things associated with combat (except Wilson).  
I honestly don’t see a reason why she shouldn’t get her own bit in things if everyone else does, so it doesn’t end up as *cough* an Abigail skill tree with some passive Wendy skills sprinkled on top.
And let’s admit it, being locked to using an ornery beefalo to reach your “max damage potential” isn’t a lot of options and Wendy getting Beefalo skills wouldn’t really fit her theme well (without maybe making the Beefalo depressed too).

I think for affinities you should be able to use pure horror/brilliance  as a telltale heart and turn Abby into a black  silhouette of her human self with red details  or  blue silhouette with white details a larger sanity gain for Wendy and the ability to help with more the just fighting and her flower determines the shape of the silhouette with maybe different details 

I'm going to play along for once with the whole skill tree thing (since I'd rather they not exist) and say that a skill tree that removes Wendy's inherit ×0.75 attack modifier without Abigail is a terrible idea. Keep character weaknesses, especially if you're going to buff the strengths of a character.

This seems too broken. During combat you will most often have Abby fighting with you (unless Abby is low on hp or the boss has AOE) and removing the debuff would remove the point of why most Wendy players get a beefalo.

just give her more potions and expand her abilities beyond just abigail since she has literally nothing going on for anything other than combat, honestly literally all abigail needs rn is just a skill that halves the damage she takes since currently she takes double damage from most bosses because she's an npc

also i kinda want her to have some beefalo skills since she's so strong with them, maybe give some ways to buff allies in general? that way she can buff beefalo as well as abi and other players + other stuff like pigs or bunnymen

As long as she isn't ruined by her skill tree I'll be fine with it, if she's made even more powerful in all stages of the game instead of just compensating for the ugly mistake that planar was then I'll riot.

Wendy's powerful but at least she's not completely brainless to use, I hope she stays that way.

literally anything not combat focused, Wolfgang beats him in straight combat and the devs aren't willing to nerf him since someone will get very upset and cry a lot so the only reason for wendys existance is to use her with beefalos or for people that are unable to kite spiders.

ghosts are actually a really cool thing to base a character around so it's a shame that all she does is summon 1 ghost who just deals straight up damage (boring)
