-wither finds the spell Mallory cast it is called A mile in anothers shoes, unforutanly there is no counter spell the spell will only end when those under its effect learn something about the others kind-

Edited by stormfront

"Hmm...well, that's unfortunate..."

*Lowers the book*

"This spell is uncounterable...it only ends when you learn something about the other's race..."

*Looks at Wyvern*

"In that case, I'm glad I'm not you. Because I doubt thinking that they taste good is going to help here."

"Exactly, Aria. This could take a while."

*Looks at some webbing a while aways*

"Hey, there's a spider nest over there! We could show Wyvern what it's like to be a spider there. As for Spidina...well...I suppose you just spend time around demons like us."

*recovers from being shaken and retreats behind Wilson and hisses at spidina*

OOC: perhaps spidina could learn about instinces

edit and ferris poofed... was that a for the night poof or a coming back poof? it is late but its also fri.

edit2: well its been nearly an hour sence ferris's last post and I'm tired so night guys

*rolls on the floor of the thread* no one else is here and I'm bored which means Random lore chunks time!

one of these days I really should up date the guide some more (its so outdated well not outdated just lacking in lore)

spellbooks/grimoire

all true demons have a grimoire or spell book a demon's spell book is an extention of their own being and appears when they learn their first spell. as the book is an extention of their being evey demons book looks different and is a reflection of their power and persona growing more ornate the older and more powerful the owner gets

becuse of their link with their book many demons are capable of getting their books to move on their own to a deegree such as float while they cast or turn the pages hands free.

as well there is no need to directly write in their book when a new spell is learned it simply appears in the book.

magic languge

there are three magical languges runes, demoninc, and angelic, demons and angels know their own tounge from an early age and can easly learn the other as well as human languges easily. runes are the langue of spells. there is a small amount of magic needed to understand the three languges as a result it impossable for a non-magical being to comprehend the three.

without magic demonic langure sounds of beastal growls and rumblings angelic however is said to sound simaler to latian in sound..

it should be noted in addtion to verbal communattion demons also use a varity of sounds these may sound like normal animal sounds to a non-demon but demon to demon they actually conveay thoughts and feelings in a semi-telipathic range

growls, squeaks and hissing: are used to convey stresses such as fear or anger , squeaks convey these feelings as well as a call for backup from other pack members

chirping demons some times make a chirp like noise as a reinforcement of friendship and other bonds

one form of chirp is unique to a singal stiuation this sound a cross between a chirp and a purr is a sign of kinship or more presicly the offer of pack status from one to another

Suddenly, a far off chuckle was heard. No one from that point remembered Will's existence.OOC: I'm dropping out, I've got way to many trips I didn't know about coming up. I'll probably join with the same character when they are all done. See you all later!

well I'm not a demon myself but arent demons both bipeadal and quadrupel? I mean I know adults walk on two legs but I think hatchlings walk on all fours...

Come to think of it Mallory does run on all fours like animal ....
