There would be a bigger amount of fishing areas and less land to grow crops on with a whole lot more shallow waters around. Inspired by Netherlands, we would have an ability to reclaim land and move water away. Maybe even have possible floods and losing some parts of land if we don't have dams or barriers around to protect it. Caves - narrow cave areas could be found to travel via boats, explore deeper parts of flooded cave to reach the rare ancient loots and reclaim those areas for gaining more access to resources. I think it would be neat if your base became flooded and you'd lose access to resources, farms, and storage temporarily until the water levels decrease. That might encourage players to build a secondary base as backup somewhere in the event that their main base becomes flooded. Would also add a little challenge and variety for base huggers and encourage living in the wild once in a while. Kubicska Posted December 8, 2023 Share Posted December 8, 2023 This either sounds like another DLC (like Shipwreck or Hamlet) or a really big update and I’m all in. Make something like "warning" on the land, and all animals that can to migrate - will migrate. Also would be fun if pigs can also move from flood and rebuild their houses. And semi-flooded lands could be fun, similar to mangrove forest in SW.
