Arcwell Posted December 2, 2023 Share Posted December 2, 2023 This is because lightning spear has a unique electric damage modifier: The "SetElectric" method in weapon.lua was also changed when the beta dropped so that electric weapons can have custom modifiers. In the case of the electric spear, it's 1 for dry, and 1 + 0.5 (AKA 1.5) for wet. The weapon modifier takes priority, so voltgoat jelly effectively does nothing with lightning spear.
