Snow cover

When winter comes, over time a snow cover forms that covers the entire turf. The snow cover prevents you from building smoothly and you have to install a mod for removing snow, but it completely removes snow everywhere and this hits the winter atmosphere of DST. I hope they will add an official way to remove snow in some places. For example, a turf that can be laid on top of another turf, and there will be no snow cover in this place

I kind of agree that there should be a way to clear out snow because I actually like how snow looks in the world. 

I only installed snow disabler in dst but never had it in ds. Always made the world look like a winter wonderland. But there are definitely problems with snowed tiles.

In the Sims 2, they had this feature where if you moused over where something was hidden under the snow, this little like, x-ray circle thing would temporarily appear to show you where it was. And then you'd find out that you HAD in fact been getting the newspaper the last few days; it was just invisible. Also where your slob roommate had been putting their dirty plates. :P

Maybe a similar feature could work in DST, like, it looks normal until you mouse over an area and hold the mouse there for a sec, then the snow turns transparent...? Don't know how that would work with large areas, though. For roads, I started planting trees alongside them to show where the road is, even when it's covered:

(The ginourmous trees are from mods. Actually they're mods that I'm AMAZED still even work; their original code goes back to when DST was still in beta!)

So yeah, that's my idea. Snow x-ray. :P

Maybe using a shovel on it, and sometimes gain ice from doing so.

! Ooh! I like that! It'd also pair well with that one Thirst mod, which let you "fill bucket with snow" in winter for hydration purposes. Shovel your driveway, get life-sustaining liquids! Win win! (Note that that quote was from an old version of the mod; the translation might be better now.)

I believe that mod allows you to adjust the number of layers of snow you see. I typically enable just 1 layer so I get the feeling snow is there without cluttering the world too much.

i will be happy with just a graphic setting to disable it when i wanna build

if not, maybe something made of salt to melt the snow but idk if is possible to remove snow in just a limited place

Maybe placing a Campfire/burning stuff on ground should melt snow 2 tiles around it?

Some form of digging/sweeping the snow could also work.
