Another Thank You regarding Wormwood

Recommended Posts

Just wanted to give another HUGE thank you to everyone at Klei regarding Update - 567776 with the redo of the initial Wormwood skillset. It is so enjoyable and I greatly appreciate listening to us regarding it. It means so much to me and I assume many others. It's been 20 days since that update and I am still gushing over how much I love it. Just thank you thank you thank you again everyone at Klei.

:yaypigs::love_heart::wilson_love::wickerbottomthanks:

Ive also been having a lot of fun with the changes.

Im really glad bramble husk and trap specialist skills were added because theyre doing some back breaking work carrying the tree :lol:

Cultivator pets are still pretty meh other than carrat (kinda) and both bottom branches aside from monkeytails might as well not exist but what can ya do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I’m just now starting WW skill point unlocking but I’m also not going to lie about it either, compared to Woodie & Wolfgang his skill tree looks Intimidating and bloated & good bit of it is locked behind boss fights I’ll likely never get to unlock. :( The stuff that’s not locked behind a boss fight seems like useless farming stuff I’ll hardly use.

I guess the Auto reseting bramble trap & spike release on 3 hits without being hit yourself will be pretty nice- still a significantly more bloated & confusing skill tree than Woodie & Wolfgang’s tho.

Edit: scrolling through the Wacky skill tree set up is difficult on an Xbox controller as well, as opposed to Woodie & Wolfgang’s.

Firstly I thought carrats are useless, but when I really in game, I found they are actually good, because carrats collect seeds for you in early games which means you don’t need to have stare at the whole screen to find some birds or seeds they left, which saves lots of troubles.

another thing I like carrats is they can collect plants for you, after you break the gaint plants.

I don't like how all the plant crafting and mushroom perks are on the same side, and are on the side with the summoner perks which do not synergise together at all.
