We could use a change of Tillweed Salve recipe

Recommended Posts

4 Tillweeds, 4 petals and 1 charcoal is a weird and hard recipe to gather to get a good amount of a spoilable healing item. Do note that the amount of healing is not the problem here, but Jellybeans are the only viable overtime healing item on the game, and I think another one, even if it heals less, is appreciated, since it's fun to use overtime items (at least in my opinion).

My suggestion is to at at least remove the petals requirement to... ashes probably? Or make it a mirror of the Healing Salve, but instead of Spider Gland, we use 2 or 3 Tillweeds.

Taking away the spoilage of this item would also be nice, since the ingredients of the Jellybeans are edibles, and Jellybeans itself don't spoil. The same occurs to Healing Poultice.

Personally the low healing and the minute long healing over time is what's not worth it to me.

Except for one character, with good kiting, most characters can take a few hits. After applying once, the most you're gonna get out of it is a single hit more. Against something that does 75 dmg, with 80% protection, you'll take 15 damage. If you get hit in a minute within that time frame you'll heal with something else or you'll overwrite the previous salve.

If I'm going to be juggling healing I rather do it with something instant + jelly beans. Jelly beans you can just forget about for a while. Since it will be some time before you're withing healing range again.

And for more casual healing its low spoil timer makes it unusable for me (I prefer healing salves as they are easy to mass farm and last indefinitely).

It might have had some potential with wormwood + bat bat in the early game but that ship has sailed.
