Nnumber3
The milkmade hat is a food/hat item that is crafte- i mean cooked with... naked nostril? it drops from those molebats in the lunar grotto (with a 33% chance), A piece of kelp, any diary item (butter, electric milk, milky whites.), and a filler I would say this is the MOST complicated recipe in the game, and it rewards you with a WHOPPING 187.5 hunger over 4 mins, with a -1.3 sanity drain (+1.3 for Wurt), I think we can all say this is useless, so here's some ideas to improve it: remove the Naked nostril requirement, perhaps replace it with something like a fish? or a durian? or a pomegranate? just some item that is not used to often to support the high hunger value. Make it a dish: turn it to a regular dish, since it's made with some mole parts maybe it can give a night vision effect for 4 minutes? not sure if it would be a Warly exclusive or not. Make the molebat drop 2 nostrils 100% of the time, so you can make more so it's not a pain to grind for. What's the purpose of this dish? no one in their right mind would ever "find" this recipe without looking at the recipe on the wiki (which i did) I'm guessing its purpose was a dish to make on the way to the archives, yet it's too complicated as have to bring so many ingredients.( with that ancient pot thing in the archives) maybe you could revamp the recipe entirely by making it with lunar components like moon shrooms, nostrils and filler? that's all, tell us your opinions! from your neighborhood Warly Main Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/149931-the-hat-that-is-made-in-a-crockpot/ Share on other sites

I think it does it pretty well also it's not like the nostril is a 1% drop rate Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/149931-the-hat-that-is-made-in-a-crockpot/#findComment-1655189 Share on other sites
Brago-sama
It used to have a use when Wolfgangs damage was tied to his fullness, but now since you have 2x damage guaranteed in mighty it's not very useful. I think it's neat at least Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/149931-the-hat-that-is-made-in-a-crockpot/#findComment-1655191 Share on other sites

Gashzer
It also doesnt rot an has its niche uses. For example its useful for woodie if you are planning to transform several times in a short enough timespan. By equipping just as you're goin to starve, the hat could keep your hunger just over the starving threshold while being really food efficient. Masked Koopa
I just think we should be able to refuel it with milk, it gives a pretty good amount of hunger so it'd be a bonus for having voltgoats or killing eye of terror often. Cheggf
It's not useless. It restores a lot of hunger, restores said hunger in small increments which synergizes well with Woodie, lasts indefinitely without ever spoiling, and looks very funny. It's pretty easy to craft, too. Nnumber3
hmmm, it seems most people don't find this item useless, perhaps i should try to use it more often (tried it once) thanks for the feedback, guys, might have given me a new item to strive for! I just thought grabbing 9 berries and 3 morsels/monster meat for 3 meatballs = the same thing (at least for people besides Warly) might be useful in long excursions when there's not a lot of food or an early base expansion I guess.
