Pectros Posted July 22, 2023 Share Posted July 22, 2023 I played for 8 hours and decided to mod the game, but the mods broke the game. It just doesn't start. I've tried everything; removed the mods, reinstalled the game, repaired the files, checked the drivers, etc. Nothing worked, I know my old laptop sucks, but the game ran perfectly, no issues. I've touched the mods and I can't get the game to work. One is not installing Sim Constructor (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=580661011). Almost all major mods depend on this mod. The other is having spaces or special characters in the folder names for your mods (likely if you installed the mods manually instead of through the in-game steam workshop support). It's possible to check which it is by checking the log file (Documents\Klei\InvisibleInc\logs\invisibleinc.txt). To make sure you can open the game you have to delete the mods folder (default location on steam C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\InvisibleInc\mods).
