HowlVoid Posted July 21, 2023 Share Posted July 21, 2023 Let wormwood catch butterflies with his hands. They're already practically landing in his hands already so why wouldn't he just catch them? This makes it a far weaker version of petal production but also makes butterfly friend more useful. He would not get any petals underground and only get petals in 3/4 of the seasons. But there is the added benefit of being able to plant flowers easier for bee boxes. With the added functionality of bramble traps it's not like wormwood is poor in the silk economy. it's not like he benefits very much from the sanity of planting them when compared to planting seeds. Also not like he can heal from them either. It just makes it a far better early game skill. added note: of anyone is worried about Wormwood using this to heal other players; with photosynthesis he can already creat a bat bat every 2~ days and distribute them to others. Purple gems can be obtained in lot of ways, dragonfly, Klaus, graveyards and the ruins are full of them. Wormwood can explore the ruins faster with lightbug friends.
