honestly a simple and solid suggestion

30 would be better, as he can use 3 logs to produce 1 board.

So 30 logs =10 boards 

in total, happen to be one set of boards.

So he still carry as much wood in boards as everyone.

If you had 120 logs (6 stacks occupied) woodie would turn them into 40 boards (4 slots occupied)

If anyone else would turn those into boards they would have 30 boards (3 slots occupied)
With 30 log capacity woodie would have 4 slots occupied with 120 logs in either logs and boards, almost no difference since you don't craft much from logs themselves
With 40 log capacity woodie would have 3 slots occupied with 120 logs what finally makes difference.

That's why I think it's not an overpowered perk, with added benefit that Woodie can store 360 logs in a chest rather than 180. But other character using up the logs can't stack back to 40, only 20. So If you want big log storage, woodie is not can't be a swap character.
