No Information Online for the Morale related Stress?

Recommended Posts

There seems to be no information online as to how morale effects duplicant stress. The wiki just says- variable. There is also no information about how morale difficulty modifier exactly works. The wiki has just copied the in-game flavour text, which is not very informative at all. Does someone here know how exactly low morale or high morale effect duplicant stress? How does the difficulty modifier affect morale need?

believe at higher morale difficulty you need more morale over the minimum to produce the "high morale" buff, which reduces stress by 20% per cycle. Having low morale increases stress (a lot, and I think that also scales with difficulty).

ETA: Never mind, the first part was wrong.

The stress difficulty setting gives a passive buff or debuff that goes from +20% on easiest to -20% on hardest. So you need to keep dupes at perpetually high morale just to counteract that -20% you always get.

I found exact information on Russian wiki. Sometimes it give more info than english ones. Here it is:

Quote

The current morale is higher than the requirement — -10% stress per cycle with a difference of 1 unit, -20% stress per cycle with a difference of 2 or more units.
The current morale is equal to the requirement of -5% stress per cycle.
Current morale is below the requirement:
"Requirements: Low" — (+2% multiplied by the difference, but not more than +10%) stress per cycle.
"Requirements: Usually" — (+2.5% multiplied by the difference, but not more than +25%) stress per cycle.
"Requirements: High" — (+5% multiplied by the difference, but not more than +30%) stress per cycle.
"Requirements: Very high" — (+10% multiplied by the difference, but not more than +50%) stress per cycle.
On the complexity of "Morale requirements: No", the mechanics of morale does not have any effect on stress at all — neither more nor less.

Sorry for Google translate
