What are some niche uses for brightshade staff

I want to find use in this item. I recently found it is very helpful in the fuelweaver fight(at least on consle due to the targeting on the woven shadows being very difficult) and want to see if anybody else has discovered any uses.

Lately I’ve been using it to kite a single Beefalo away from its herd during mating season so I can kill it and make Meaty Stew, but you have to keep hitting it.. and keep moving it away from its herd.

The Staff only deals 10 damage per hit, so it’s pretty useless in trying to actually fight anything with- Personally I wouldn’t mind if it was made to be like Abigail, as in: Great against “Groups” of Mobs.

I think it would be great for things like fighting Birchnutters, or Cookie Cutters, if it had a buff in damage it deals, and how many projectiles “bounce” between targets.

Like I want this thing to be able to wipe away an entire army of Birchnutters.. or other similar large groups of low hp mobs that would be its “best” use I think.

Spider Farms with Celestial Crown and some Sanity food, it absolutely shreds even the Queen when she's with a crowd.

Also doing the Wagstaff minigame solo without getting a stroke.

I play with a Controller, so this might be niche, but I like to leave 1x Brightshade Staff in Chest, just so I have one made.
That's all, I can't use it with my Controller.

My theory was always that they added the brightshade staff so people can access the other rifts more easily in the future, since it can be used to kill woven shadows easily. I bet there'll be a shadow alternative that makes CC or CrabKing easier in the update that adds the shadow rifts.
