Removing a recipe for a specific character only?

Hello! I'm working on a character that can make cheaper honey poultices. Making a new recipe is easy enough, but that also means she has two recipes for the exact same item now. I have been trying to hide the old recipe so she can only access the new one, but this is completely stumping me.
