myxal
Cheers. I'd like to try my luck in designing a puft ranch in debug mode. Building it is the easy part, but testing the design feels like a test of attention span - waiting for critters to age, eggs to incubate, etc. Am I missing some easier way than switching to ultra-speed and watching the paint dry? I'd love to be able to select on spawn, or modify on existing entity: critter age (and maybe wildness) egg incubation Alternatively, is there a way to insta-kill (not delete) a critter? (Ie. so that it drops the meat, and can be done in an area with no dupe access) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/147733-testing-ranch-designs-in-debug-mode/ Share on other sites
ghkbrew
I feel your pain. I'd be happy if the debug copy-paste preserved critter attributes (age, calories, etc). I suppose there's probably a way to edit such things in the save file, but I've never been annoyed enough to try it. I just set up the ranch and let it run at 10x or higher until it stabilizes.
