Honestly I had a scrapped thread idea about them lowering Walter's ammo cost and bloat being solved by giving him only one craft for rounds but using a system similar to Maxwell's current codex to change to the type of round you want to use while making you unlock each different type to add to it for the first time.

I mean most characters nowadays have loosely related niche perks alongside their main perk or perks so Walter fits right in. After having more time to mess around with uncomp Walter can't say I'm a fan of the change however felt it just tried to turn him into yet another flavor of follower character.

Nah woby allows you to negate the piggy backpack -10% slowdown allowing for even more free inventory space, the walking cane does not. 

Beefalo only outclasses Woby if you get the rider beef. But that is a lategame luxury, beefalo taming slows you wayyyyy down in the early game and isnt worth it unless you are wendy/wes cause beefalo gets outclassed in damage by a hambat and outclassed defensively by thulecite crowns/dreadstone armour. The only bosses you absolutely need alot of speed boosts which an ornery beefalos speed is good for are shadow chesspieces/the twins of terror . Cane or mag speed alone is enough for the rest.

Tbh its everyone on these forums that needs to learn the game beyond there scope. I gravitate towards the most meta/efficient ways to play games. I dont play walter cause i like his personality or skins or anything. I main walter because i do much more boss killing and play much more efficiently/faster than with the rest of the cast including wanda and wolfgang. Cause walters perks synergy so well with each other to speed up gameplay.
