pether
If I understand correctly, Rock Fan gets +3 to all attributes when it is showering on their asteroid. I really like new and unique traits, but if I understand correctly, it is totally useless in current DLC... Right now, meteor showers happen only on regolith asteroid and you can't really access it until late game (new buildings may help with that a little). Nor you really need to, you can reach the Tear without making colony there. And on the main home asteroid the trait will not work, because nothing happens there... OK, there is also moo moonlet, I guess moo showers count too, but it is also rather late-game meme place. I fear the new trait will end up like Radiation Eater - fun on paper, but useless in real game... Suggestion to fix that: Add setting that allows meteors to show on more asteroids, with highest difficulty setting including starting asteroid as well. Please correct me if I understand new trait incorrectly. 6Havok9
Your post sparkled me an idea, hope you don't mind if I post it: Meteor Magnet, spaced out building: After activating that strange machine on the frozen asteroid and witnessing its effects, dupes sought to replicate it. Unfortunately, they weren't entirely succesful, but maybe it's for the best. After you activate the machine you must send a skilled scientist to study it. Once the study is complete this building is unlocked. Building it, and using it, is a rather costly effort. Sadly, it cannot open up new temporal tears. But it can very efficiently attract any kind of object that happens to be remotely close to its location. The result is a brief and violent downpour of rocks, space debris and things that were better left in space. This could include moos. And morbs. And who knows? Maybe if that machine was some Story Trait found on main asteroid? This way we wouldn't need to colonize space to get it Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/146638-rock-fan-fun-but-useless-in-dlc/#findComment-1626650 Share on other sites

Maybe even have a selection mechanic like the Geotuner, where you trade some commodity in order to make it rain something rare. I like the idea of summoning Moos in particular, since they can't be bred.
