Increase Dreadstone Armors durability again.

Recommended Posts

Previously the body armor had 50% more durability than the helmet, matching Thulecite armors durability while the helmet matched Thulecite Crowns durability. This made sense as the Body Armor costs 6 Dreadstone and the Helmet costs 4.

In the latest patch Dreadstone body armor got it's durability and damage reduction reduced to match that of the Dreadstone helmet but the crafting recipe was not changed.

The Body Armor should get a durability increase or a easier crafting recipe or maybe superior regeneration.

Yes! It needs a little bit of extra gain.

Although they now have the same defense, durability, and sanity cost. But compared to armor, helmets has 20% waterproof and compatible with backpacks. So even though the armor was change to be the same material as the helmet, the helmet still distinct outperformed the armor.

With the helmet having such a distinct advantage, players will surely prioritize the rare dreadstone for making helmets, and Armor was made to "matching" the helmet much later when they had absolutely redundant stones after few daywalker battles, or using green gem staff and amulet. There is no reason to make and use armor independently, leaving it in an awkward status.

So I wanted the armor to get some enhancements that would make it more powerful than the helmet and worth making first. Or making the dreadstone equipments have a stronger "complete set effect" so that players are more willing to make it to activate the effect.
