Mike23Ua Posted January 13, 2023 Share Posted January 13, 2023 I predict that this event will start very soon, maybe even this Tuesday type of very soon.. why and how do I predict this is because if you look on the Xbox Live Events App Many games have ALREADY started their Lunar New Year Events, And since DSTs Year of events are to celebrate the Lunar New Year- I expect them to not be too far behind in starting those festivities (plus it’ll give whoever works at Klei in charge of the Xbox Events tab a chance to update the DST Event from Maxwells Refresh/WintersFeast, to the Year of Rabbit) of course I could be wrong, so don’t completely take my word for it. Too bad I have to fight a boss I don’t care to fight to get it. Aeglefire Posted January 15, 2023 Share Posted January 15, 2023 This is what's going to happen: 1) Releasing a rabbit back into its rabbit hole is now possible. 2) Able to buy Care-It Sticks as a temporary healing walking cane. 3) Able to buy a Grand Rabbit Oven to bake pizzas and carrot pies. 4) Lucky Bunny Rabbits occasionally are inside of and peek out of Top Hats. 5) Giving a Bunnyman any fruit/veggie causes them to give you a Lucky Gold Nugget. 6) Rabbits no longer run away from you if you have a carrot in inventory. 7) Rabbits can now be given names and be kept as friendly pets inside a Rabbit Home. 8) After putting a carrot down a rabbit hole, a strange item and/or a Lucky Gold Nugget pops out after 30 seconds. 9) During the event, Rabbit Holes have insane regrowth time if they are dug up. 10) Rabbit Shrine offering rabbit candy, rabbit figure sketches, rabbit entertainment, Lucky Beast costumes, and you can now fish for Koi in the oceans. Mike23Ua Posted January 19, 2023 Share Posted January 19, 2023 Anyone wanna get in their last minute predictions? Update is probably later today.. I’ve personally never been a big fan of the “Year of” events- but they’ve gotten Better over the years. Year of Carrat was the best pet the game has ever had. Year of the Beefalo brought some awesome new Beefalo QoL changes. Year of Catcoon had a fun seek them all out in their biomes mini game. But these events just feel “Meh” to me, they feel like a distraction from core game content.. therefore I’ve never been able to enjoy them fully. That said: Im hoping we get the 2023 Roadmap alongside the Year of Rabbit Event.. i would be more excited for THAT then anything. (fingers crossed it’s good stuff!) It's always so inconsistent, starts a collection, then stops, then starts another, then nothing comes, then comes a bunch of skins for belongings. Then comes a set out of season... ... But I'm more curious about the 2023 roadmap.
