Unfortunately, to prevent ant lions from attacking and damaging the building, I left an extra circle of space; this also causes Glowcap to fail to cover the middle area. But I have the habit of carrying Moon Caller's Staff, and I'm also used to fighting Antlions during the day, so it's not a big problem.

Firstly, congrats, it looks gorgeous.
Secondly, I'd place fireflies in there!

Here’s the first piece I can share. The previous ones were really bad. I hope I can do better. Also, I could use some advice on the wall placement (top left).

I think I can add a few flowers, decorations, etc.

I can share my design decisions on existing kitchens that I built. I first start with the core design and then later think of how to decorate it.
Here's the current kitchen project that I designed for the megabase that I and @raniskog started not so long ago:
image.png.605dc96db1237c03a43571c0eec79350.png
This one I started designing with icker preserves in mind so we could have enough storage for all the ingredients we need, as well as already cooked meals we use frequently.

I first started by defining the two cooking zones: one for all players, and one for Warly. Each zone has 10 crockpots and a fridge in the middle, and you can access each crockpot from the middle fridge. The additional fridges and saltboxes are there to store some other ingredients whenever there's an abundance, before they get bundled or cooked into meals, and for ice.

The kitchen has a dedicated thermal zone as well - a separate fridge away from the crockpots, so the person who just passes by to swap thermals doesn't get in the way of perspn cooking. In between cooking zones I added 4 scaled furnaces so they can heat up thermals better, and be accessible from both cooking zones easily. They are not too close to crockpots to avoid overheating while cooking in summer. Bird cage is nearby as well, there are two but only one is usually functional.

Warly spicing station area below is not used too frequently, however it has two other important elements we use often: Maxwell's chest and Infinite chest with bundling wraps, ropes, salt, jellybeans, twigs, rot etc. Very convenient when you're cooking or packing meals, and rot is for fertilizing the bananas around the kitchen (we harvest them often for banana shakes).

On the sides there's ingredient and dish storage "wings" - one for Warly foods and one for regular foods. For ingredients, I came up with the system of dumping them into icker preserves as you get them, and once it fills up, add the full stack to one of the bundles in the corresponding chest behind it.

So far we built everything but the icker preserves but the kitchen already proved itself to be quite convenient in use. It's spacious enough so we don't bump into each other when doing something there, yet things are close enough so I don't need to leave it to grab something else when cooking or packing food.

Here's the current progress on replicating this build in our actual world at day 1000:

Edit: forgot to mention, I'm not a huge fan of enclosing builds fully with functional walls. I like to have some tall walls in the corners and back of the build for decor, but for the rest I usually have an "impression" of walls by mostly using the wall trim instead. This still gives the build a good definition but makes it a lot easier to access from all sides. Even though I have several dedicated defined "gates" in the current kitchen design, we often find ourselves walking in from all the other directions though bananas and other stuff based on where you approach the kitchen from.

I LOVE this kitchen you designed!! Haha, we spend so much time here!

As another example of kitchen builds, here's a smaller kitchen I designed for the cave base part of @Lovens and my megabase. It's themed after the lunar grotto, and I loved getting the chance to incorporate some of the new berry bush skins into this build.

Similar to Lovens' kitchen, I made icker preserves for common dishes, both Warly dishes and some others common to all characters. Most of them are on the "Warly" side of the kitchen, with his crock pots, but volt goat jelly spilled over into the other half. (Fingers crossed that when Warly gets his skilltree he'll be able to make nightberry mousse too!) The top row of icker preserves contains ingredients common in the caves, like bananas and morsels from splumonkeys, monster meat from depths worms, etc. and the stone fruit bushes/berry bushes can be harvested for some fillers if needed (although in the actual world I think the berry bushes look better without berries, so we waxed them).

Hutch is hanging out with Wendy and Abigail for the building process:

This is so stunning! Do you use any special mods for creating such intricate guidelines on where to drop them, or purely freestyle this by hand with just Geometric drop? I would like to experiment with something similar for the moonstone decor.

Antlion Arena

My idea was that an adventurer discovered a sacrificial temple in the desert, only to accidentally wake up the guardian Antlion. So I tried to decorate it.

Overall it seemed.

The corner is a temple themed on The Lazy Deserter.

That's all. Thank you for watching.

What are the bushes around antlion statues?

I was asking about the flower-like formation of fireflies on the ground but not the ones in the air above the place. I'm pretty sure the ones that form the flower are not placed on the Y-axis. Still sad it cannot be done anymore, yeah.

I've been experimenting quite a bit, with using embalming spritz on different plant stages as base decoration, and I'm starting to love it.

I also found my favorite color combination - moonshrub bushes and thulecite walls. Good old blue and orange always works. ❤️

Yes, use the Circular Placement mod to place them in circles.
