How cool would it be if you could shoot things into the temporal tare and get them back or in another game or as a portal gift?

Most of this hints at the system becoming a service, it avoids a subscriber situation and makes it a service when no point to point communications are needed.*

*local saves vs nonlocal saves mean having a friend list and a destination. Could be traded like steam cards.

But the idea is great, I'd love to give temporal tear more functionality. I had another idea for it, but then again pretty similar:

I would like to see the items thrown in there as space PoIs. Lets say you throw stuff through the payload launcher. You could find a cluster of those in another game and flying a rocket there would disrupt them and make them fall on a nerby planetoid.

The dupe sent into the tear could end up in a similar fashion. Discovering him would drop an escape pod and some debris on a nerby planetoid.
