Make Little Rabbit Farmable

Recommended Posts

I was pondering, why can't we have artesian rabbit hole, if We Put cultivated Soil then a rabbit would destroy 1 tile of cultivated soil and produce a rabbit hole making it not be so easy on the early game to obtain but make it a fun ideia since we cant have little a rabbit hole by removing the rabbit from its former hole and putting it on a new place, it would be wise if we could have it like with a kill limit, like if we kill 3 times the rabiit, the new habbit hole would perish like ashes.

There's likely some kind of method possible to lure rabbits with some fencing and gates, I bet.

Nevermind. Lure works, but they don't seem to path around walls to get closer to inner layer. Creatures don't seem to path around the other walls when the lure is closed inside the first wall. Kinda dumb, ngl. Should this get patched/changed? Only other way is to use simple traps but it feels unintuitive and expensive in the long run. If creatures could go around the other layers of walls to reach to the lure that's in their range it could potentially make fine traps?

What do other people think of this simple rabbit trap to be viable?

Marverlous ideia, it would be so cute.

Indeed it would look cute in the crock pot.

Speaking of maybe add option to put live rabbits in the crock pot like you can with moleworms (and rabbits in Terraria - say that could be the alternative recipe for the DST version of the bunny stew)

never thought of this. Normally I used traps, drop rabbits inside a pen until they reach 20+, go insane and murder them all for fuel XD

Nobody really thinks about rabbits since it's a rather weak source of food. But it's possible with a decent setup I think. Just replace the lure's gate with a statue and boom. Rabbits come in.

i guess me and my friends are nobody XD
Rabbits are normally our main source of meat, that's why we usually base in the Savannah and just leave traps everywhere. Most of my friends are casual players so not a lot of us have the courage to do combat XD
I main Maxwell so I only do minimal combat as well.
But yeah, maybe if rabbits acted kinda like moleworms, where they would create burrows in places you drop them, that would be neat.

That is a true statement.

Try finding lunar for kelp and stone fruit bushes, set up farms. If you got Wickerbottom you could set up a meat farm at lunar or mainland by using her cabinet and a sleepy book, make a pig pen with a powdercake or some other edible lure than doesn't perish and kill them during full moons. There's plenty alternatives if you know where to find them. Rabbit farm only will get you so far. Rabbit farms would greatly underperform then cause catching rabbits is a costly and time consuming thing without a good setup.
