nikk
I'm not sure if anyone needs a more detailed description. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/144123-favorited-recipies-should-be-listed-before-tab-1-tab-2-tab-3/ Share on other sites
Starlogy
Admittedly I'd like to throw some feedback here, as I don't ever find myself favoriting items or going to my favorite item tab ever. Simply using the tabs has been excellent for me and how I use the crafting menu, so I'm curious if maybe I'm missing some good applications for favoriting things. dzzydzzy
I use all the tabs and have some additional things favorited. the tabs i have organized based on necessity. tab 1 is early tools/fire and the big 3 refined mats. Tab2 is dedicated to building a kitchen with all the staples. Tab 3 is dedicated for ruins rushin it's got gold pick ax, hammer, rope, helmet, battle helm, hambat, hammer, bundling wrap. tab 4 has boating related stuff. (for those who don't know, you can add up to 9 i think tabs for yourself) And I still have some things favorited like lightning rod, and flingo. this is cause they're usually bogged down in the 'structures' tab so when I build them it's nice to just have a less cluttered place to grab em. but they don't fit in my tabs, so the favorited is the perfect place for em. Juny Pear
To be honest favoriting things can feel a bit wonky with how many filters there are in the crafting system currently, but once you favorite the recipies you want to have ready access to, I feel it flows pretty well. This also brings up the topic of the pinned recipe pages, which I mostly just use for items I either want to have ready access to at a moments notice or things I just prototype in basically any world i play. Favorite recipies on the other hand I mostly use for recipies that I use more rarely, but would still like to at least keep in one list. It's where I put a bunch of the structures I use for base building that I dont use too frequently. So for example I put stuff like basic equipment, chests and even some prototypers in my pinned recipies and buildings like fire pits, crockpots, etc in my favorite recipies. The one big critique I'd have to give for the favorites tab would be that there's no simple way to rearrange things. I like grouping the things i put in there together so that everything for example for a kitchen is right next to each other. But if I then for example want to put another structure with that group, I would need to awkwardly shift things around by unfavoriting and refavoriting thighs that are in the way.
