thewalkingcamel
So in the QOL beta tallbirds can be farmed with ease and tallbird eggs can be used to create the dish tall scotch eggs, greatly enhancing their usefulness. So it seems weird that raw tallbird eggs aren't stackable like most food items, including cooked tallbird eggs and tall scotch eggs. Is it because of technical restrictions due to raw eggs are used to hatch smallbirds, or is there any lore/gameplay-wise reasons behind this behavior? Can the raw eggs be made stackable? Starlogy
It's because of this farmability that raw tallbird eggs can't be stacked. Each individual egg has it's own hatching status and making them stackable would surely cause some wonk there.

I believe it's because they don't rot by themselves; not because of the hatching status. (I believe that only comes into play when it becomes the hatching egg item, anyways.) Likely to prevent people from creating non-perishable, easy-to-mass-store farms. Although, with bundling wrap throwing the entire concept of spoilage out the window, it could probably be changed now and not be too powerful compared to alternatives.
