Ohan
Palmcone trees are awesome for wood gathering but the scales pile up super quickly. Cannon kits and docks are both 1 time investments of scales and in the dock’s case u only need 1 to make 4 whole tiles! (Imo it should be 4 scales). And u only need so much firepit fuel. Because the scales serve as the tree’s natural armor i think they’d be the perfect crafting material for a boat with higher HP than the ordinary plank boat we have now. For the same reasons i think the scales would also be perfect for making bumpers. I imagine they be a tier between kelp and shell bumpers. Allowing palmcone scales to repair boat HP would also additionally be a nice way to use them up. — Theyd also obviously be perfect for some kind of body slot armor but im not sure what niche they’d fill and seafaring applications seem more interesting.
