catloverjerry69
Not sure if it's been suggested before but having an air intake that a pipe can be connected to would be beneficial in some circumstances like an airlock I have in mind for my current base. Because the way I have the air lock designed it barely fits the gas pump. UberFubarius
So something like a 1x1 gas pump? How much would it pump thou? Given that currently the mini gas pump is already constrained to 50g/s Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/142822-airflow-equipment/#findComment-1595890 Share on other sites

UberFubarius
So essentially a power free gas pump? Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/142822-airflow-equipment/#findComment-1595912 Share on other sites

No you still need a pump but instead of pulling air from around the pump you connect the intake to the pump via pipe/duct. UberFubarius
I see what you mean. Something like a special mode for air pump where it has a piped input and draws from a vent? catloverjerry69
The same thing could be done for liquids. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/142822-airflow-equipment/#findComment-1595994 Share on other sites
Sasza22
Actually it would be the best if the pump was a backwall item like drywall. Then it would work like vacuum removing the gas from the room but instead of deleting it would put it into a pipe. This way it could be any size and not hinder airlock designs. Either that or a backwall vent for a bigger pump you could put outside the room. Then the pump would have a 3 tile long input pipe that could be rotated and put through walls. I'm not quite sure I understand, but then again I haven't made it far enough to tinker with drywall to understand it. Basically a pump that is behind buildings. You can put anything in front of it. In case that would be too powerful then the pump could have just a backwall intake and the main pump module would be 3 tiles away from it.
