I feel it would be beneficial if DST had a native Apple Silicon version.

The game runs well on my M1 Max MacBook Pro thanks to Rosetta, but oftentimes there are little quirks and bugs that sometimes break the game forcing a restart due to binary translation from x64 to arm64 not being 100% perfect. I know it's being translated because it shows up as an Intel app under Activity Monitor.

The game makes my Mac get quite warm and eats through my battery, whilst taking up almost 3 GB of active memory and increasing latency when others try to connect to me. Not very efficient IMO.

Why am I playing on such an overpowered machine? I'm a college student studying engineering and CAD.

I don't have Rosetta, but I do have an M1 Mac, and I haven't had any problems running DST. It hasn't crashed on me even once. Have you tried running the game without Rosetta? And do you use any mods that might be causing the bugs?

Or maybe I don't know what Rosetta is. I can't tell if it's something built-in or something separate. The question about mods is still relevant, regardless. And the fact that DST runs beautifully on my M1 Mac.
