goblinball
I think alternate versions of turfs would be really cool (skins maybe? Or perhaps it could be smth like terraria’s paint system). Being able to change the color of the carpet turf, or having a few different wooden/cobblestone floors to choose from would be really nice imo. I was planning to have ones based on different trees in the game + the abandoned ship, but I haven't really gotten past this mockup cause I wouldn't know how to do the coding side of things at all (I took this picture by entirely replacing wooden turf) i wish we have that drifwood flooring. Looks cool, we dont have much light turfs (guano is the only one iirc) and we need something to waste driftwood Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/142433-what-turfs-you-would-like/page/2/#findComment-1592885 Share on other sites
archidus
I never quite understood how carpeted flooring is PURPLE considering the materials are nowhere near being purple. Now I'm not saying we should add tentacle spots to the recipe, but I'm assuming there's some painting in the process already? Anyway, I would love to see a way to change the color of existing turfs. That alone would already be perfect. I mean, we already have the pitchfork for manipulating turfs, and we also have the clean sweeper to change the look of things.... Maybe we could have a new pitch-sweeper tool for changing colors of crafted turfs? And in order to 'pick' the color, it could have slots (like the sea fishing rod) in them, for you to equip gems. We have 6 colored gems, plus the iridescent gem which could be used to 'reset' the color to the default value. dzzydzzy
I honestly just want more variation to the turfs we already have that are meant for decorating. Especially wooden flooring- current texture is so chaotic and slapdash, which is hardly fitting for most "interior" spaces. I'd love neat planking, parqueted flooring, and some variations in tone. . Maybe a marble texture thats not checkered, huge polished slabs of beautiful stone with veins running through it Of course new carpet textures Scaled flooring rn needs a huge upgrade to offer more incentive as a decorative turf. I'd love an iridescent scale-tiled texture (maybe not in this color, but this idea) Or perhaps thinking of it as an animal hide rug with a snake skin-like texture. And brick road having more colorful options to them.. and exploring looks like brick Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/142433-what-turfs-you-would-like/page/2/#findComment-1592971 Share on other sites

Evelo
I don't really care honestly. Adding more doesn't hurt the game in anyway so the more the better.
