[Suggestion] Natural Rubber

I would like to point out that rubber trees are only found in the tropics - but rubber can be extracted from any number of other plants, including milkweed and goldenrod.

As those are temperate-climate plants, I think they would be more suitable for Don't Starve than a tree.

I have pointed out in the past before when someone has said this , If you can have tentacles in swamps and giant tree monster and pigs in skirt that can speak, why not be able to extract rubber from a tree? Also if you think about it a Savannah and a swamp biome and a grass land biome wouldn't all be together....

Great idea. Also, rubber could be used to craft wheels and then make wheelbarrows that has 2-4 slots to put grasses, twigs, rocks, charcoal, gold, and all resource materials except food and other stuffs.
