Wortox buffs

I don't understand what all the fuss is about. He is a trickster. He teleported to a different dimension (Terraria). He still hardly gains benefits from eating normal foods. Hell I don't even play Wortox and when I saw the global teleport all I thought was "Oh that's pretty neat." Realistically it isn't that useful. Okay you get to skip a few minutes of walking big deal.
We just got docks so we can walk to the Lunar Island now.
The only "issue" i see is being able to get to Pearls Island which. Okay? Is that a big deal though? If yes please please explain how.

It is when you need to go long distance in both ways.

As other characters you need some time to go there, do this task and go back on foot, while Wortox and Wanda can instantly teleport, do it and teleport back, effectively converting "walking" time into "doing the task" time. The only difference is the distance, because of course if you live in savanna and there's beefalos right near you, it will be cheaper to go manually than teleporting.

It's not, because you need Pearl only for a crab king, but as I said - distance matters.

In general it's hard to argue with instant teleportation because you only spend some time to collect resources for it (bees or bflies for Wortox and 16 thulecite, tusk and nightmare fuel for Wanda) and to explore an unknown territory.

Actually a global teleport can be useful in a variety of ways, including being able to teleport to any player who is in need of healing and then teleporting back to wherever you were continuing to do your own thing..

Outside of healing he can also teleport to other players/locations and drop off crafting materials/weapons/armor.

He can ALSO take a grass raft out to Salt Formations gather Salt or Cookie Cutter Shells and then Teleport back to pearls island to start upgrading her Hermit home or building Salt Boxes.
