Make the mouse work while using WASD

The game would play much better if you could move the mouse while you control the caracther with WASD.

Getting chased in circles around your campfire while it runs out, and you cant stop moving or you'll be clawed to death Feels very unfair, you cant plan for that and theres no way of avoiding it. need mouse control aswell to be able to equip a torch or armor or put a log on the fire.

EDIT: figured out the problem is with my pc's touchpad. it works with a proper mouse.

HOW? It won't work for me, are you playing in a window or fullscreen?

I play in windowed and it works for me also. I almost always run with wasd and use mouse for actions while running from point a to b.

Does your mouse disappear when you run or something?

Ah, I was using my touchpad, I plugged in a mouse and then it works. aparently my computer doesent wanna read touchpad+keybaord input at the same time.

I just assumed the basic funtion of a touchpad was the same as a mouse.

that's why you should never use a touchpad for a mouses job!
