Game is stuttering with max FPS

Recommended Posts

I believe I'm having this since WX update, I though it's because of it's beta which I asked but did not get any response.

I disabled all of the clientside and serverside mods, I'm having 60 FPS and set the lag compensation to none but still having a small annoying stuttering in game. All of my drivers is up to date, I have pretty strong computer that can handle it. So what's the problem?

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600H
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1650 (Using this one with game)
GPU2: AMD ATI
RAM Memory: 7341MiB

@Karitha Just to clarify, is this a laptop or a computer? When I had a strong laptop, I was facing the same issue but when I went to my significantly weaker computer, I had zero issues. If it's a computer for you, then I have no idea.

Either way, try these applying these settings in the Nvidia control panel.

It' a laptop but it's only happening with DST.

Having stable 60 FPS with no stuttering in Arkham Night and God Of War. It's really annoying when you get used to smooth gameplay and been a big reason for me to don't wanting play DST anymore.

It's like that already.

@Karitha Damn, unfortunately I've got no other answers.

Best I can say is to make a report on the bug tracker, provide a dxDiag.exe (instructions by Klei here) and a recording of the issue.

It's an issue I've seen over the years on the forums and I think it's something about DST and laptops, since that seems to be the common thread each time.

Is it stuttering while you are hosting a game, and does it still stutter if you join another hosted game?

Do you have the same stuttering when playing the standard non-beta version of the game?

Does it stutter while using Windowed mode?

Are you certain the game is running on your Nvidia GPU and not the onboard AMD CPU graphics?

Does it stutter if you choose to run it with the AMD graphics?

You could try monitoring your processes in Task Manager to see if the stuttering is happening due to high CPU/Memory usage, etc.
