whitecode
I saw that was a thing in DST PC ver, when will it be added to the Switch ver?
Mike23Ua
Pause was added in an update at a later time (the Nintendo switch version of the game is only built up to the Webber Rework) Theres roughly about 1.5 years of monthly content updates that switch currently does not have. But do not Worry- Klei is working to get your version of the game caught up to all the other platforms, and I’m assuming with one big patch- Rather than releasing it one month at a time like the other platforms had recently. If I had to guess- i would say June 2nd when all (or most) platforms get the new update- Switch will be caught up. Dont take my word for it though because I could be totally wrong.. but I’ve noticed that @nome likes to answer switch related questions so I’ll ping him and maybe you’ll get a response. To clarify further- there are certain features, QoL changes (such as your aforementioned pause button) Character Reworks, DLC Characters (Such as Wanda) Game Content Updates & Skins that the Switch version of the game does not have yet. But will get eventually (and hopefully in the near future..) I hope this helps to answer your question.

Since that is an awfully big update

Since that is an awfully big update No, no one has confirmed this date, however the games next big update is coming out on June 2nd The MidSummers Cawnival (Year 2..) Now I do not know if Nintendo Switch will be included in this updates release schedule (last months update was the WX78 Rework but switch has not got that yet either) Klei says it’s going to take them some time.. but they eventually plan to have Switch version caught up to date with the other platforms. Since the next big update is June 2nd I am assuming that’s when Switch will get an update as well- and that update may not be up to date with the most current update (Cawnival Year 2 coming June 2nd..) But I’m pretty sure they will at the very least catch you guys up by a few of the updates your missing, such as Auto-Pause, new biomes, Crafting Rework etc.. Developer nome Posted May 30, 2022 Developer Share Posted May 30, 2022 We're not yet at the point on switch where we can tie releases into special events. We're still in the "getting content to you guys ASAP" phase. Once we're caught up, then we can try for special dates. But yes,the next content update has quite a lot of stuff in it.
