Optoelectronic Circuit and a New Circuit

I feel like the Optoelectronic Circuit is good on its own, maybe it takes up too much space, since I could still use some moggles and get the same effect, plus take it off whenever I wanted (thus saving durability) compared to its circuit counterpart, ya that you're not going to have Optoelectronic Circuit equipped all the time, but that's a minor issue.

I feel that in itself, the visual effect of the moggles is somewhat annoying, therefore the visual effect that Optoelectronic Circuit has visually irritates, perhaps it could be replaced by the effect of the Wagstaff Infroggles that are more pleasant and less tiring to the eye, also that they would be a good reference to its creator, such as the examination of the "Pine cone" or the "Broken AAC Device".

On the other hand, perhaps a new seasonal circuit could be implemented that is waterproof, to keep WX78 dry on rainy days (especially in spring), it would be exactly the effect that "Fish Cordon Bleu" has, but without Warly's dependency. Maybe analyzing a frog or a merm, I feel that it would be a good addition to the qualities of WX78.

I think character should have at least one innate disadvantage that should somehow change the playstyle - ability to remove it completely would make it just "better Wilson". It also makes sense lorewise - Wagstaff wasn't able to create waterproof automation.

if the visual effect only works in night, instead of night and dusk, would be way better

In a way, yes, it is an innate disadvantage. Water resistance can be overcome with other items in the game, either having an eyebrella equipped and the electrical slots free, or using such slots with a waterproof circuit and head space free, is exactly the same. I'm choosing between having a slot that I could use for speed, health increase, or some other occasional circuit, to protect myself from something as basic as water. Choosing between one thing and another will always be an advantage and a disadvantage at the same time.

Also, let's take into consideration that the rain is only extreme in spring, which would make it an situational circuit, and if there are 4 uses, it may only last 1 or 2 game years. I doubt that people will want to put on a waterproof circuit in autumn, even less so in the summer.
even taking the Fish Cordon Bleu as an example, being WX78 a robot, it still affects the properties of the protection to the water, why not a temporary component that does the same?

and with respect to the lore, it would still be respected because the creation surpassed its creator.
