Did they change torch durability?

I don't know why but it feels like  klei reduced torch durability, i remember using only half torch in a autumm nigths but now i need 2 torches,soo i was wonderyng if they really changed or is just me having a sudden realisationg of how short the torch durability is

For me it's always been either one full torch or one full torch and a small amount of a fresh torch.

Autumn nights get longer the closer you get to winter, so that's probably why.

It also depends how the torch is used.

You can light trees on fire instead of always running with a torch, you also don't get damage from Charlie immediately, so you can save durability on that.

Autumn nights with standard settings last two segments. One torch loses around 75-80% of its durability in two segments, provided that there is no rain. Therefore, in an early game, one torch will be enough for the night. As the night get longer, or if you mess with settings, mods or rain, of course you will need more.

As far as I recall a rainy or wet environment will also decrease the durability of the torch faster. So if you got rainy nights it will feel shorter too.
