then again, i said that william could show up in wolfgang's animation months before the refresh and considered it a stretch, but look where we are now.

 

this! this thread talking a lot about gameplay but there's nothing about lore. wagstaff suddenly became super lore relevant and wx's backstory can give insight to him as well. why they hate him, why they are they way they are, maybe any blueprints? would love to know more about wx beyond vague feelings of wanting to kill everything thats alive. like did they even have a life before the constant? they dont even know what a cat is (lucky cat jar)

theres a difference between making a mistake and choosing to ignore pronouns. someone saying "reminder that wx uses they/them pronouns" or similar is not "jumping at people". 

it's easy for anyone that made the mistake to apologize and use they/them instead of he/him. people that are reminded they made a mistake then CHOOSE to continue making it with half-baked excuses is what is frustrating, not people that make genuine mistakes. 

people slip up sometimes and thats ok, as long as they learn eventually.

there isn't anything pushy about most people's approaches to correcting pronouns. its literally just one sentence as a reminder, which is then met with stubborn resilience for no good reason. 

it's one character in a cast of 18 (24 if you include solo only characters) that's nonbinary. i fail to see how that is "too pushy". 

regardless, i am very appreciatve of you and anyone else that uses their correct pronouns.
