giygus
If I use a hot polluted water geyser, infected with food poisoning germs, to feed Hydroponic Farm tiles, will any germs transfer to the harvested food? I plan on growing Pincha Pepperplants. Just checking to make sure before I start building. I currently use a couple of Thimble Reed plants to handle overflow from the Washroom Sieve loop just fine, but the fibers aren't going to be eaten. hapatchi
If I recall, using infected water for your crops doesn't transfer the germs to the crops. However it's been a while since I've tested this, so I could be mistaken. That said, it doesn't actually matter. Pincha pepper nuts are never consumed directly, they are always cooked into the final food product. And cooking always removes all germs from the ingredients. As such... yeah, it just doesn't matter
Sasza22
Germs don`t transfer from the water to the plant. Only wat to get the plants dirty is when the dupe harvesting is covered in germs. Easy to avoid via a wash basin at the entrance to the farm.
