Character specific items are lame

Disclaimer: this topic is not about Wolfgang rework exclusively, and it will definitely not have begging for speed boost at the end I swear. 

I wanted to switch my attention to another thing that bugged me for a while now (ever since Warly was added) and is reappearing once more in the upcoming rework - character exclusive items. 

Probably the lamest way to make a character unique, and a very bizzare concept when all the reworks are themed into teamwork. I think it started with the first rework that is the Winona, and how she got her new powers that work perfectly fine without her. People noted it multiple times that she is just a phase, a swappy, a one time builder, a walking boss station placing dispenser and so on. Klei seemed to take that to heart and desided that from that point onward charcater exclusive perks are exsactly what they are called. 

This creates silly things such as Wilson, who is too polite to use Warly's crockpot and prefers to eat raw monster meat with a side of red caps to it. I get that klei are Canadians but this is just too polite man. 

I think the best character original items are stuff like willows lanter and Bernie and wigfrid's battle spear. While anyone can use lighter for its general purpose, only willow can cook food on it (I'm lying to sell my point) and while Bernie helps everyone to deal with shadows, only Willow can use him to beat the crap out of every single normie mob. Wigfrid spear is even more interesting as it don't have enough damage to pass a 50 threshold on normal characters and is just a bit better spear for big but not too big boys, but with wigfrid's personal perk it gets damage boosts mix and is a better weapon than tentacle spike for basic enemies. 

And that's just amazing and creative.

I could go on and on about how anyone could use character original perks to make them more fun for everyone. Like how Warly could make original dishes and cook faster on his pot, while normies just use it as a basic crockpot. How they would only make 1 spice per craft instead of 3, how it would take half a minute or more to season dishes. How Wanda's alarm clock could be used by everyone, but they only deal damage like it has 0% durability (unless they are maxwell). 

But I guess it's too late for them, so let's talk Wolfgang.

Well, like always, new structure The Gym cannot be interacted with by others not even for a small damage buff, sanity gain, speed gain or anything that is useful but not as useful as it is to Wolfgang. It could make this mini game harder and have a smaller skillcheck window. It could have meaningless but funny interactions like how some characters are weaker than others and thus the little circle moves slower for them as it takes them a while to take a breath after each lift. 

Dumbbells too. Now that Wolfgang gains mightiness from throwing them it's ironic that he needs mightiness to even do it. He should be able to throw them always and so should other charcaters. Heck, this is a good way to buff their usefulness as a weapon, since mighty Wolfgang could throw them further and do more damage than the rest. How come he dosent have double damage from throwing but has one for blowing??? Things hit hard when you throw hard!!!

i like specific items but im with you that there is things that has no sense or are a waste of potential like wolfgang gym being used for everyone or maxwell not being able to use alarming clOPck
