OriginalName
Second post here and wanted to share something i found funny. I suppose this is useful if you're on an endless server and you can't set the event to winters feast. Anyways Holiday Cheer is an item found during winters feast that is used for crafts in the Feast tab usable when standing near a masonry oven. The only way to naturally get holiday cheer is find gingerbread pigs and follow them, similar to suspicious dirt piles. Or rather that's the intended way to get holiday cheer. There is however another way to get holiday cheer. That's where Wanda comes in. Thanks to her we have access to easy revives and with them we can consistently farm Holiday Cheer. See when a player dies with a Feast Buff that still has over 25 seconds remaining they drop a Holiday Cheer. Feasting with more players than dishes effectively creates holiday cheer. So the process is as follows. Create dish, Feast, Die, Rez, Repeat. The rate of this farm is really only limited by the amount of players you have and how many Second Chance Watches you have. From my testing i recommend The Latkes or Sweet potato casserole recipe. In my testing i used 2 tables for convenience but its easily possible with only one. I didn't get too in depth with finding the fastest kill chamber in my testing. The watches unique mechanic of resurrecting players where they died will offer some unique building challenges. Assuming you had as many watches as you wanted. you could reuse this "Farm" every two minutes or so. one minute for the feast to occur and another or less for the volunteers to be processed. The cooking time of the recipes don't factor in since Wanda herself doesn't need to feast and can craft them while waiting on the feast to end. Wormwood is especially useful for this farm since he can easily Process himself and provide living logs at the same time. Thinking on this more since the ideal killing chamber would be using anenemys since they deal 60 damage and resurrected players only have 50 health. although for max effiecency you would need more anenemys than you have players since the reset timer on anenemys isnt quite a minute. It's basically a free HP (for anyone but Wanda)/Sanity heal and also allows you to ignore hunger (since it both gives you hunger and cancels the hunger drain, which gives it a rather insane combo with Oldwolf). Issue is doing that can take an Insane amount of festive cheer, but IIRC there isn't any hard cap to the timer so theoretically you can just keep eating festive foods and stacking the buff duration for as long as you want. OriginalName
Wow this is poorly explained. thats what i get for doing this at 3 am. Anyway as for why you would want to farm holiday cheer, The feast buff is pretty useful for long boss fights as it will save you some healing. Its essentially an extra jelly bean effect. Not worth it for any of the seasonal bosses or crab king. Probably too much work when most groups don't really need it to beat a raid boss. However if you're doing a hardcore run with friends it can be that extra thing you need. Going to edit the main post now since i never actually described how to use the farm.
