Orzelek Posted October 27, 2021 Share Posted October 27, 2021 I have a bit of an issue with dupes when they are idle: They kind of chose new small heated farm location for their idling spot. This is not optimal.. especially from the use of vacuum sealed entry. Any way to convince them to not do that? Do I need to fill it with C2O or something.. Hokaeru Posted October 28, 2021 Share Posted October 28, 2021 Option 1 : you can build a recreation room so they would rather idle there (unless they idle because they have nothing to do, which is random). Option 2 : you can build a duplicant checkpoint, and a timer sensor, and only send Green a few moments in the Day Option 3 : you have one Farmer Who is allowed to enter and you change door permission Option 4 : you can create a gym (manual generators on priority 1 linked with a Light bulb) so they are never idle (if this is not during downtime). Idleness was result of me leaving them for few minutes without new project planned. So combination of options 3&4 seems best. nakomaru Posted October 28, 2021 Share Posted October 28, 2021 One of my favorite benefits of leaving dupes in suits 24/7 is that they will always return their suits before idling, so you can force them to be in the suit room. But you'll probably want to disable suit durability for that.
