Is there and does anyone know how I could potentially gift this game to a friend because I doubt I can get a refund? Your best bet would be to contact Steam support, but they'll probably just quote their standard refund policy at you. Unless it's changed recently, games purchased or redeemed on Steam are bound to the account permanently. You can gift games, but they have to be specially purchased as a gift. After the game is assigned to an account, it can't be regifted. The giftable versions show up as an item in your steam inventory, not an actual game. Sometimes you can get them for free from certain things.
