Fipplaren Posted September 13, 2021 Share Posted September 13, 2021 Hey just started a new playthrough and started pumping out solar panels for easy free power and I noticed I had real big problems keeping up with power demand so I looked at my panels and they only reach 50% effiecieny at most. Have the devs changed something or is the current version bugged? I placed the out in vacuum where the lux value is the highest but to no availa... So on some planets the solar panel may never reach maximum power efficiency. My 2nd one needs 5 of 7 panel tiles exposed for maximum efficiency. Alternatively, try placing the solar panels at a different angle. Or change their location. This has helped me to increase the efficiency of the solar panels.
