rgduck
You can't build pipes or insulated pipes out of mafic rock, but you can build liquid bridges out of it. Is there a thematic reason for this? Yobbo
I always assumed the mafic rock in the game is too porous to be used for liquid pipes. It certainly looks like swiss cheese... I went looking, and it turns out that while there are many types of mafic rocks, the type that might be found on the surface of an asteroid do tend to be pretty porous... probably not ideal for pipes. Then again, I'm not too sure how you build pipes out of sandstone... But anyway, I guess my suggestion is that mafic rock be disallowed for liquid bridges too, if it's going to be disallowed for pipes.
