Just an idea but maybe when the fire has reached the maximum stage that the character would say something and you couldn't put anymore fuel on.I don't like wasting fuel and i can't really tell when it has reach its peak due to the nerf for the fire pit.

On one hand that is handy, on the other you can alwasy throw extra things on the fire in real life, wether it is usefull or not. I do agree that the whole fire stage thing could be clearer though.

well, if you throw more stuff on fires in real life, they actually do burn longer, or higher, there is no "cap".

While I actually find it hard to miss the fire cap in game, I mean, the flames get really high when you reach it, hard to miss....

I actually would welcome if your fuel just would be added to the "fuel pool" anyway, maybe not making the fire go even higher and the light radius extend more, but just make it burn longer, so I can put 6 logs of wood into the fire at once, and not 3 here and 3 there to get through a night at a reasonable light radius.
