This one is considerably smaller in scale than my previous megabase, which clocked in at about 3000 days, because I needed a palate cleanser. So, I decided early on not to bother with Mushlights and Glowcaps, cause killing (Misery) Toadstool and farming the Celestial Champion would be too tedious. The end result is this: I'll spoiler the rest to avoid this turning into a loooooooooooooooooooooong post. The Hearth: Spoiler This is the "base of operations" so to speak, equipped with all the crafting stations one can build, life giving amulets for a rainy day and both cold and hot thermal stones. Storage: Spoiler Most people have their heart in a chest. Wes has his chests in a heart. Seaside Kitchen: Spoiler Features a caged puffin for producing eggs, seeds and guano, a saltbox for meats and another for veggies, plus a leviathan chest for accessible unmined stone fruits and another for bundled supplies. Drying Racks & Blue Mushrooms: Spoiler I swear the kid was already dead when I got there. Berry Bushes, Red & Green Mushrooms: Spoiler Three farms in one neat little package. Grass Gekko Pen: Spoiler I modeled this one after that solitary Rabbit Hutch you can find in the caves with Grass Tufts and a Pitchfork. Pig Village: Spoiler Featuring Scarecrows, Thulecite Walls, an unhealthy amount of Potted Ferns and, of course, Pig Balloons! Spider Farm with Bunnymen: Spoiler Now with 100% more balloons! Harbor: Spoiler The Scaled Chest has a bunch of Boat Patches in it, for quickly replenishing the ones used while sailing with 4 Winged Sails open. :P And the infamous boat... Garbage Disposal via Lureplant: Spoiler Decided to use a desert theme and that was the one and only time I bothered with the Antlion in this run. Apiary: Spoiler Twigs & Stone Fruits: Spoiler It also glows at night... Glommer Shrine: Spoiler Glommer has always been the soul of the party. Farmland: Spoiler All your crop farming needs concentrated in a single spot. I didn't want to make bundles and signs for every single crop seed in existence this time, so instead I made 4 bundles containing a seeds for a particular crop combo, one for each season. Pumpkin/Potato/Asparagus for winter. Potato/Potato/Garlic/Onion for spring (Creamy Potato Puree, mmm...). Toma Root/Toma Root/Dragonfruit (or Pepper) for Summer. And I think... Carrot/Corn/Eggplant for Autumn? Pig King & Tooth Traps: Spoiler Beefalo Pen: Spoiler A cozy little pen I made for my pet beefalo, who I have affectionally named Bourguignon. Lureplant and Thermal Fish Boats: Spoiler Located under the cool shade of an Above Average Tree, these boats provide quick access to Leafy Meat, Kelp Fronds, Scorching Sunfish and Ice Breams.
