Souvlakii00
OS: Linux Cpu: i5 7400 Gpu: Gtx 1060 3gb Game runs terrible normally, i found a way around it which is changing it to the udpatebeta and running the non 32 bit version of the game (if i run the 32 bit it runs the same as doing it normally). Is there any way I can run the normal version of the game at playable fps?
Captain_Rage
Which GNU/Linux distribution are you running? Which window manager? Do other games behave similarly? My computer dons an AMD Ryzen 5 3600, runs Arch Linux and uses KDE as window manager, together with AMDGPU drivers for the graphics card and I am getting a stable ~ 59 fps on a 900 day world with many entities on the normal branch (non-beta). Souvlakii00
I'm using arch as well, and gnome as my window manager and also have xfce installed for different sessions. When running the game my cpu stays at almost 100% usage.
Souvlakii00
I solved it! A little stupid but i didn'0t have the lib32-nvidia-utils package installed on my system.
Captain_Rage
The only similar description of your problem I found was this although it didn't provide too much help: https://forum.manjaro.org/t/low-fps-and-high-cpu-usage-on-all-games-since-last-update/22263 Perhaps that missing package made your system resort to using any integrated GPU or software rendering. Glad you figured it out! :))
Rylanor
Do you have installed any mods? Sometimes mods can cause horrible lag after updates.
