Sasza22 Posted July 20, 2021 Share Posted July 20, 2021 Power armor as an enhanced atmo suit might work but it needs meaningful bonuses over regular suits. Also a higher cost. Probably amix of steel and plastic and extra power drained for recharging them. I`m not sure if extra strength or move speed is enough of a bonus though. Buildable teleporter would be nice for lategame. Powered by radbolts to skip rockets for dupe travel from planet to planet. Would need some space materials to be build probably. What would be the purpose of crystals? Just another transparent material? A rare space mineral for building advnaced stuff? Maybe a portable radbolt container? I can imagine a rare crystal that can hold a certain amount of radbolts shot at it for further use but get destroyed after releasing them. Charging station for power suits? Could double up as a charger for rovers and possible future robots. Medkit to "fix" incapacitated dupes without the med bed is not a bad idea. It could bring them up to 50% but need a second dupe to apply to the incapacitated one. A planet outside the starmap (in a different dimesion) that can be only visited via teleporter sounds cool. Or maybe use the earth remain that couldn`t be landed on in the vanilla game. It has a force field around itself so maybe the only way to get there would be via a teleporter you build lategame. Could contain some crazy stuff and tons of artifacts. I sold a few thousand when I was running a sales business, it offers severals ways to end life. 5 cars from a national safety organization raided my previous business on that specific adapter and I issued a product recall back then.
