No Refined Metals Volcanoes on Started Biome ? on pourpose?

I wonder if the absence of Refined Metal Volcanoes on started biome is now part of the gameplay ?

No. Just of the randomness of world creation. 

Edit: Sorry, that was only for the "big terra" dlc start.

In the DLC, each starting planet currently only uses a set number/type of geyser. Not random at all. Terra has two Cool Steam Vents, the others have a CSV, a cold slush, a salt slush, and (a hydrogen?) as well as one or two minor volcanoes.

You can go to the starmap and select your planet to see what geysers it has easily.

If you're on Spaced Out! style worlds, then yes. There will be no metal volcanoes on the starting planet. You can find them in other planets like the Irradiated, Tundra, Marshy and Superconductive asteroids.

I think it's random on Classic style worlds, though.

Terra will more closely match the other starting asteroids when the next update comes, as it's gunna have both slush geysers and one of its CSVs is getting replaced with a natural gas geyser.
