CyberSkink
Dear Klei, I have an idea for the next Quality of Life update for DST, and I think that many people have wanted this feature in some form for a while. I think that Don't Starve Together should have Remote Play Together for Steam. This might be a tall order, as I don't know the technicalities of getting the permissions or the resources to achieve this goal, but I think that it will greatly help the player base expand and help bridge the gap between console and PC players since remote play is easily accessible via tablets, televisions and smartphones and that remote play for Don't Starve Together is already on those devices. I think that the logical next step for the game would be to let players have the ability to play with each other locally. This, of course, has already been achieved on console however, I feel that a more elegant solution would be to allow players to play with this method, due to it being more versatile. The prospect of putting a game on a work computer is frightening to some people, and not everybody can afford to have multiple computers for different purposes. I have had to experience this problem first hand. My dad and I play DST on the console, we have tried to move to PC, but we don't quite see eye to eye on putting games on our computers, yet we still want to play together. This, I'm sure is not a unique case, but I digress. This is just a suggestion, but it would make a lot of DST fans happy to be able to play locally on one pc. Thank you for being the awesome game company that you are, I hope that this suggestion helps. Regardless if you decide to take it or not, you have my undying love for your games and the company itself. Thank you for making a positive impact on my life Sincerely, A Fan Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/129292-a-qol-suggestion-or-any-other-update-really/ Share on other sites
