Help me with a mod please!

So I am trying to work with the mod: "The Golden Voice" that goes along with "Gramaphone" by the Author %*#^&F'l"y`n~n!, and I got permission to use coding to make an unlisted custom mod for my friends and us to enjoy custom music I put in it. The DST Mod tools every time I try to put it in says that there was an error while making it, if someone could tell me or show me what I am doing wrong that would be very helpful.

Well how do I get the logs from the DST mod? All I've gotten was: 

  But when publishing a smaller mod it works but just takes a bit to load. The file size is for some reason really big despite it not adding up to 131 MB, but no matter how much I try to shorten it it just wont shorten up. I can send what I got for the mod folder if that's useful I only got like 4 songs on it.

I believe the dst mod tools still use the older steam mod api which caps mod file size to about 1000 files and 100MB, anymore than that gave errors. I don't know if this has even been updated, I never saw anything considering I monitor the forums pretty frequently.

I can take a look at your mod, there are compression options for fmod to help lower the filesize of sound files like vorbis which can really save a lot of filesize.

As for logs:

Okay so it now crashes or just says it needs the original mod to load and now when I load up both the mods crash and disable, so when I clicked it I crashed and got this. client_log.txt

It looks like you edited the existing [Records] The Golden Voice mod, but didn't finish fixing it?

In its modinfo.lua, it's saying it's missing a } close bracket (where "configuration_options" is)

 

If you're not using the edited version, you could just delete the mod folder for the original, and let it re-download.

Yeah I got permission to edit the files to add my custom songs onto it, I'll see what I can do to fix it.

You can't do that

You can only reupload most of it as a new mod

Yeah I know it was just refusing to work when testing it, either it would crash or require a mod that just turns to a void requirement and will never load.

Usually I get that error because I've forgotten to update the mod's version number.  Have you made sure to do that?

I also have the upload version in a separate file location, so it never gets overwritten by accident.  Might help.
